She’s a broken little angel.
Someone’s knocked her off the shelf and she’s lost her little wings…
She’s a little angel that someone broke in two.
She bleeds from her heart not her wounds and her screams are sharp like the jagged edges of her whole.
She cries and denies that anything is wrong while she tries to make everything fit back the way it was before.
But Elmer’s just not going to do the job and she’ll always have that fractured look of damage.  
So mind the broken angel.

She’ll never admit it but she’s cracked down the middle and she’s too ashamed to give the king’s horses a try.
Her eyes now bear that look of pain and her smile is crooked, full of shame.
She hides her hands down at her sides, she will not show her broken fingers.
So now her head tilts down to hide the sheen of tears and she will not let you see her cry.
So mind the broken angel…

She so sad she wishes she could die.
But she’s just a little angel, sitting in the trash.
Thrown away when she crashed.
Her little heart is smashed.
What’s worst of all is the pain she’ll cause,
When you pick up the broken angel that you think is fine,
Her broken edges cut you up and down,
So down you drop her, shatter her some more.
That’s how she get’s so broken.
So mind the broken angel.

She just wants someone to pick her up,
Someone who won’t drop her again,
A person who can heal the pain,
Make her world whole again,
